Borrow/Lend Revenues

SmartCredit.io takes a 0.5% fee from the loan volume. This fee does not depend on the loan term; it's always 0.5%. This platform fee is added to the borrower's interest payment.

Part of the borrower's interest payments is allocated to the Loss Provision Fund, which the project guarantees. However, this does not count as revenue for the platform - these are loss provisions for unexpected events, and can be considered platform insurance.

SmartCredit.io does not earn on borrowers' liquidations. The remaining funds are transferred back to the borrower's credit line if liquidations are required. The borrower can use these assets later or withdraw them from their credit line.

The lenders do not have any fees on the platform. They create Fixed Income Funds and deposit funds. Lenders pay only gas for these transactions.

SmartCredit.io pays gas for matching borrowers' and lenders' orders (matching is done between credit lines and fixed income funds). Part of the 0.5% fee is used to pay gas for Ethereum transactions and to cover infrastructure costs.

AI and Data Services Revenues

SmartCredit.io offers AI and data services to external platforms via the ChainAware API:

  • Fraud scoring - real-time wallet risk assessment at connection time
  • Transaction monitoring - AML/CFT compliance screening for VASPs
  • User segmentation - on-chain behavioral profiling for personalized growth copy

These services are available to other DeFi platforms, wallets, and crypto businesses seeking to implement the same compliance and personalization capabilities. Full API documentation is at swagger.chainaware.ai.

Partners Revenues

SmartCredit.io offers integration partners a Borrow/Lend SDK and Widgets and shares revenues 50:50. Partners earn 50% of the platform fee generated by their users (addresses) in perpetuity - this is the 0.5% loan volume fee attributed to traffic the partner brings.
